Spring Wedding Color Inspiration

It has long been accepted by many people that talent and inspiration go hand-in-glove. I think that you can add understanding and subconscious too. They all seem to be linked in the creative process.

I believe the importance of this as a motivational factor is not being used properly in this industry. Reasons for failure are due to the fact that many people starting out in this industry do not understand all the basic processes involved in planning a business and managing it on a day-to-day basis. More assistance is needed to assist home based business owners in this.

If what you want to achieve is important to you and you don’t feel motivated, just do it anyway without feeling motivated! Make the decision to do it. Yes this might take an act of will, discipline and determination. Yes it might be unpleasant, require a commitment and you might even have to give up something else. Yet you do it because you know the end result, your goal and that is more important than whether you feel motivated or not. The problem is that most people focus on what they have to give up rather than focussing on the long term gain.

A discussion of motivation and Get inspired is not complete without a mention of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. Psychologist Maslow wrote a paper in 1934 titled ‘A Theory of Human Motivation’. In this paper, he gave his opinion on what he thought motivates human behaviour. The lowest motivation for human conduct is a desire to acquire some creature comforts. You are at this level if you are struggling to get by. Those at the highest levels of human motivation seek to self-actualize. They live for higher things, believed in higher ideals, and move for higher reasons motivated by the highest human thoughts.

But too often it isn’t. People get ground down by daily life, by trying and failing. Yet no super-successful person ever got that way without failing regularly along the way. We learn the most from our failures, not our successes. Make no mistake, success isn’t never getting knocked down – it’s getting up just one more time than the world knocks you down. But unless you have a firm grasp of your dream and know the concrete steps it’s going to take to get you there you may not have the motivation to get back up that one final, crucial time.

Beware, Now that you have found how easy it is to find inspiration the real challenge lies in keeping track of it and knowing what it can help you do. Carrying a small notebook will ensure you can jot anything down as it comes to you, but keeping a larger notebook or binder at home will allow you to keep and organize pictures of your inspiration as well. For example you may like the colors and design of the label on your favorite beverage bottle. But fleshing out its use in jewelry making may prevent you from including it in your beading how to binder for future reference.

Other times the motivation will be spot on, you will realize “Yes, this is exactly what I was looking for to drive me”. Then use it. If motivation makes you act, use it. If it doesn’t, discard it. Sometimes it’s not easy. Motivation makes you feel good. Breaking that state of motivation makes you feel the cold of the wind and look at dirt of the ground once again. But life’s not fluffy or warm all the time. Many times, when you have to take action, you have to get down and dirty. So do it. Harness that skill and you will control your emotions, your capability for action, and achieve peak performance almost immediately.
